As the life expectancy age has risen, care of the elderly has become an important issue.  The care of one’s aging parents or another family member is a fact that many of us will have to face.  And since the ideal for many is to provide this dignified care in the comfort of the individual’s own home, Elder Caretakers have become a wonderful option to meet these needs.  Elder Caretakers are responsible for providing companionship, care, and support to the elderly. Their responsibilities typically include preparing and presenting meals, light housekeeping, providing physical and hygiene support, (the extent of this support depends on the needs of the individual), as well as pleasant companionship.  It could also include driving, errands and outings.
